An Stór Tourist Hostel
ABOUT US
Ten Years On - The hostel was
originally built as a wool store and, later a grain mill. In 1995,
Frank and Maria Murphy refurbished the building, retaining the stone
facade and creating the atmosphere of a big townhouse. The business grew
with tourism in East Cork and 2003 saw the opening of an extension which
includes a modern kitchen and dining room. At present, groups are
catered for on request and the facilities will be extended, as
required.
